How Waste Turned Into Peter Millar Apparel At Golf’s Greenest Event
Thousands of plastic water bottles recycled at last year’s WM Phoenix Open have been transformed into logoed shirts as part of a special line from Peter Millar. The shirts are being displayed and sold at the merchandise tent at TPC Scottsdale.
This special line is part of a joint initiative with Repreve, which has turned more than 35 billion recycled plastic bottles into sustainable polyester since its founding in 2007.
This latest effort is part of tournament sponsor WM’s efforts that make the Phoenix Open the largest zero-waste sporting event in the world.
