California has been ravaged by wildfires—one of which was named, The Camp Fire. All told, these fires have forced over a quarter of a million people who were in harm’s way to evacuate as the blazes approached. While this is a tragedy no one wants to face, residents have come to one another’s aid to help escape the coming fire.
The elderly have been especially in need of help in these cases of evacuation. Fortunately for 93-Year-Old Margaret Newsum, her Waste Management driver chose not to cut his route short as the fires approached the town of Magalia.
