Crossroads Landfill Receives Spirit of America Award

At the annual Norridgewock, ME Town Meeting in March, Town officials presented the annual Sprit of America Award to the WM Crossroads Landfill. The award is presented in cooperation with the Spirit of America Foundation to recognize organizations and individuals who go above and beyond to improve a community’s quality of life. Crossroads was recognized for their efforts on becoming a part of the fabric of the town and the extraordinary contributions to make Norridgewock a better place to live. Support for the Town Fire Department, free services for municipal events, assisting local recreational and park activities, and contributions to area organizations were all noted during the award ceremony.

Receiving special recognition was Crossroads senior district manager Jeff McGown who is also a Norridgewock resident.  Jeff’s efforts have been instrumental in creating Crossroads’ fantastic relationship with its host community.
