WM Virtual Sustainability Forum | February 3-4, 2021 at 10:30AM ET

Join us on February 3-4, 2021, as we bring together thought leaders from both business and civic sectors to exchange ideas and create innovative strategies around sustainability. This two-day conference is held every year in conjunction with the Waste Management Phoenix Open, one of the PGA Tour’s largest and most popular events. This year, we’re going virtual with a two-hour, two-day event. Stay tuned for the daily schedule and our featured speakers for each session. Register today.

In addition to next year’s sustainability forum, Waste Management (WM) recently published its 2020 Sustainability Report (WM SR2020).  As the largest recycler in North America, WM’s leadership is still invested in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We are still in commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement and have achieved our goal of avoiding three times more GHG emissions than what is generated in operations. This effort is recognized nationally by multiple prestigious environmental accolades, which distinguishes WM from every competitor in the waste and recycling industry. WM has also aligned its 2025 goals to the UN Sustainable Development goals. “WM is committed to action that provides the greatest contributions locally to affect positive change globally.”  Click the hyperlinks here to learn more on WM’s six major goals and KPIs or climate management strategies.
